Training Log
You really don't see too many athlete's training logs out on the internet. I
really don't know the reason for this. Is it that athletes do not want to share
what gets them to the top (or bottom) or their game. What ever the reason, I
keep a good training log in an Excel spreadsheet and keep it up to date. See link below. (The one here on my website may not
be up to date just because sometimes I don't have time to update it). I am not
afraid to share my training log for all to see in hopes that it may provide some
benefit to some runner or triathlete. I know of one case where it has
already inspired one person to pursue their ambition to try a certain triathlon.
My training log is true. I don't make up miles to make it look impressive.
That's why if you do decide to look at it, you may be surprised on how many days
are missing data. It's because I didn't train. It's part of life, sometimes you
just don't feel like doing anything. Especially after a long day at work. I am a
weekend warrior athlete. I would be much better if I did this for a living - but
I don't!
My Training Log
Click on the photo link below to download my training log. It's an excel spreadsheet. So if you don't have excel, you probably won't be able to see it. Training log updated on 2/15/07 and includes training for all of 2006.
If you are interested in viewing my training log for previous years, email me. My training log goes all the way back to 2001.
