I have included this page to ramble on about anything I want - mostly music. I believe music has power beyond belief. Music can heal bad moods, relieve stress, set the mood for an evening and of course motivate before a race. Of course I listen to a variety of music - there's beer drinking music (with buddies and solo), weight lifting music, running music, barbequing music, chilling out music, stress relief music, driving music.
What kind of music does the loco runner listen to? Well just about anything there is except rap. Is there any sense to this music. Although, I have recently been caught listening to a few rap songs that actually have some rhythm. But my favorite music style is definitely Contemporary Jazz Music. Some of my favorites in this category are Dave Koz, Brian Culbertson, Chris Botti, Richard Elliot, Michael LIngton, Mindy Abair. To balance out this easy listening music I listen to Rock Alternative. My favoirtes in this category definitely has to be Staind. Some others that I also listen to quite a bit are Hoobastank, Goo Goo Dolls, Incubus, Evanescence, Creed, Third Eye Blind, Chevelle, and many others. This kind of music if definitely gets you hyped up for a race, or keeps you motivated when hitting the weight room.
Breaking Benjamin and Blue October are two rock bands that have been around for awhile but have recently started hitting the rock charts. Their recent albums are definitely well worth buying.
